Friday 15th April saw the official opening of the new Waitrose Sports and Leisure Centre; the gym facility at the headquarters of Waitrose John Lewis which has been fully equipped with the latest CYBEX equipment and is another example of the excellent partnership between CYBEX and Nuffield Health.

Located in Berkshire, the new gymnasium has been opened by Waitrose John Lewis in partnership with Nuffield Proactive Health, the UK’s leading independent healthcare provider. CYBEX installed a number of cardiovascular pieces chosen from the high end commercial equipment range, as part of the contract worth over £35,000, which included treadmills from the 445T series, the revolutionary non elliptical 750AT Arc Trainer and a number of 750C upright cycles.

CYBEX also equipped the facility with strength training apparatus, including a Bravo Functional Trainer and three pieces from the VR1 Duals strength line. Designed to offer its users a high quality training experience that is easily accessible, the VR1 range has been created by CYBEX to provide fitness equipment with a compact floor footprint – the VR1 Duals series of products has further extended this principle, by using multi-functional mechanisms to create two exercises in one machine.
